FALLING is a cross disciplinary research project exploring physical, metaphorical and psychological significances of falling.
FALLING engages with projects, collaborations, discussions and writings involving a range of professional practitioners, researchers, academics and post grad students across a range of different creative fields including choreography, theatre, circus, live art, philosophy, literature, architecture, theology and psychotherapy.
If a healthy creative life requires an acceptance of falling, how might we work choreographically, within different communities, to embrace falling as necessary for living change when, ethically and physically, falling holds risk of shame and fear of death?
We are grateful to University of Roehampton & Performance Research for funding.
